Sharpening Service
Our specialized sharpening service offers the highest quality and reliability to restore the original sharpness and functionality of the instrument.
Each blade undergoes a thorough inspection for wear, cracks, and other irregularities before sharpening. It is then precisely ground to the optimal angle to ensure superior cutting performance.
For do-it-yourself sharpening, we offer a repair kit, which includes a sharpening stone, O-rings, a bottle of instrument oil (50 ml) and a pair of flat nose pliers.
Repair Service
With our extensive expertise, we ensure your instruments are repaired with the highest precision, maximizing their longevity and efficiency.
Each instrument is carefully checked for damage, wear and functionality, followed by a quality check after repair.
Quality Control
Our technicians are inspecting most FST instruments according to strict quality controls to ensure that your instruments are returned in top condition.
Aside from checking instrument dimensions and specifications, we thoroughly inspect tip sharpness, cutting edges, springs, joints, and other various components. Only after passing our detailed inspections, instruments are approved and sealed with our “FST Inspected” sticker. The picture shows our cutting test for ring scissors based on the standards and specifications of surgical instruments. Each pair of scissors must perform a smooth cut without tearing or fraying the material, specifically at the fine tips.
